Centre back is more important so we don't sit so deep every game. If we had a top defender next to keane we'd be much higher up the pitch so our forwards would be closer to the goal.

Completely disagree. Williams not ideal, but he's not the reason we're sitting deep - it's because the balance up top isn't allowing us to keep the ball reliably in advanced positions and have proper movement there.

Williams and Keane as a pairing isn't actually bad; that's why we're only looking for cover in that role. The striker position actually needs a first team starter coming in; Sandro/DCL are the developing cover for that role.
