We are about half way through preseason.
If the game last night was assessed as a pre season game would the verdict be different ?

It is clear the manager has a particular striker in mind, it is likely that he is a player that is not available yet for whatever reason and that does point to Giroud at Arsenal due to the uncertainty about Sanchez.

In general this summer the signings have been reasonably well signposted by the media including Pickford, Rooney, Sandro and Keane. Giroud has been linked all summer as well and he could very easily be the man RK is waiting for.

I hope not.

As others have pointed out, we still have not spent a penny in this window yet due to the Lukaku fee. No need to be holding on until then or the end of August, get them in now and get them settled.

i'd hope not. We've done well this summer and but we still lack a proper CF, pace and a bit of creativity.

I would hope Sigurdsson will be done before the next game and also be very close to another CB. Who I don't know but someone left footed younger and better than williams

It's Deffo the Everton in you lol. I don't want to as I hate Sunday games but I want to as I want Everton to attract good players and be heard of again.
