Worryingly, based on the poor standard of competition, I don't even agree with that. I thought - other than a rocky patch around November/December - he was quite comfortably out performed by Jagielka. That's genuinely terrifying.

He is another alternative with Troy Deeney 8f we cant get Giroud deal done.

We basically need to replace Lukaku and Barkley.

Sigurdsson and Giroud are both decent players but neither add the pace and spark we need.

If it were Keita Balde and Iheanacho we'd improve massively more.

Don't get the love in with Iheanacho. He's decent but isn't better than Giroud really. I'd happily take him, but not sad to see us 'miss out'.

Keita is a good player but even so is more of a wide forward. Also, he's already reportedly turned us down after we lodged a £25m bid.

I've seen him a couple of times and he looks like a big lummox fit for the Dutch league.
