It's hard to get the value balanced and both parties happy with each end of the deal. I wouldn't be happy with Lennon and Kaboul for McCarthy, neither would improve our starting 11. Lennon had some good moments but does anyone honestly want him above our other options or even the players we're otherwise linked to?

I see a lot of Evertonians are volunteering to drive him (for free) up to Parkhead. I am not sure there's much truth to his leaving however. I heard a transfer figure of £100,000 being bandied about which made me smile. Celtic have not got rocks in their head and are hardly likely to go that high.

I'm not certain how ITK the story is but I am very disappointed. Never felt so disappointed since that Blue hung a Welcome Home banner for Geri. That was truly cringeworthy
