Summer signings analysis.

I really don't want to sell Osman, as I enjoy having a academy veteran in squad who still is not crap. Would prefer to sell Naismith.

And there's two players from Wigan too much that I would like to see in our squad :).

This will sound racists in political correct place like UK and it will be difficult to proved otherwise (not that I care much), but based on observing players from this region not really a fan of hiring players from Maghreb countries, especially when they grown up there or in France. Don't know much of Belhanda's behaviour, but as a rule would be worried that he's a terrible teammate and not much better person. Plus - like Louis van Gaal for example - not a fan of signing players from Africa because of ACN.

Does sound a bit racist to be fair mate

I will throw my 2pence worth

We need to improve the squad bottom line . Theres two ways of going about this we either sell fellani and buy 4 players or keep him and get 2 players in and maybe 2 on loan . I would prefer to sell fellaini for the long term because he might stick around this season but he will eventially will want to leave for a champions league club . If fellaini stays then as much as i want fer he is kind of the same player as him and we need creativity

My ideal scenario would be fellaini and heitinga and guaye out for a combined fee of 29 million then in

Centre back 4 million
Negredo 12 million
Honda 5 million contract ends december
Fer 8 million

Line looks like this
Howard
Coleman. Jags. New cb. Baines
Gibson. Fer
Honda
Mirallas. Negredo. Pienaar

Or if fellani stays then use mirallas as an attacking mid and bring in a winger like atsu or maybe mcmannaman and loan a striker maybe lukaku

Gibson. Fellaini
Mirallas
Atsu. Lukaku. Pienaar

Like I said - I know and I don't care much. Not my fault that there is too many Ben Arfa's, Taarabt, etc... floating around - players with great abilities, who are doing way under their talent level because they are lazy, are horrible teammates and care only about themselves. I know that this can happen with players from various nations, just have my personal opinion that with Maghreb countries it happens much more frequently. Don't want players like this for Everton.

And yes, I've heard about one Zinedine Zidane being actually decent in his days :).

Can't argue with that. If an offer came in for Naismith, I would imagine it would be considered a la the Lucas Neill scenario.

Can't argue with the ACN point. Belhanda, from what little I've read about him, appears to be a team leader at Montpellier FWIW.

Osman just signed a new contract.... In any case, I think we should keep him because a) we would get nothing of worth for him, b). He is a really good squad player and better than anything we could replace him with for the money. And c) he deserves to end his career here like Hibbert.... He's been a loyal servant and we should treat him with respect...

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm just saying that if a bid came in for him, say £3m or £4m, I'd probably take it.

where we getting this money from lads? i was adament we'd be getting £25m at least for fellaini and that would provide most of our transfer budget for the summer. That seems a little less likely now, bill needs to give a lot of the TV money to the new boss. he's very stupid if he doesn't realise that providing a £15m budget may get him a massive return in profit through champions league qualification if he actually took a risk for once

That's why i would prefer to get rid of Fellaini he's the only worthly asset to sell . I read somewhere that before moyes was leaving for utd he ask bill for a budget and it was £10m including wages with no player sales. This would pay for fer . We would then have to use the tv money to maybe buy a winger and loan a striker . It wouldn't be a bad option to loan a striker because if jelavic starts finding form then we wouldn't need waste money on a striker
