I notice it cos AJ used to do it and it annoyed the hell out of me. A striker should always be in the centre of the goal, nowhere else. Torres is always central. Van Nistelrooy scored so many goals cos he was central and ready to pounce. Lineker too.

Yak going wide just gets in the way and vacates an area where the ball should be coming.

And I read an interview with AJ when he went to fulham and he said moyes told him to do that, and it frustrated him. So when he was asked if he wanted to move on cos fulham were interested and yak was 1st choice, he said yeah.

Im sure it's how moyes has told them to play.

so he's turning strikers into wingers (Osman - do your research, aj, Yak, Donovan and louis to an extent) and midfielders into strikers (Cahill, fellaini) hmm interesting

Sorry to not know but could you tell me a bit about him?
On loan from spurs at portsmouth, 23, bald, built a bit like Jonny, midfielder, scored some cracking goals including a breathtaking fk the other day. Deffo a future star!

Jamie O'Hara anyone? I really rate him!

Yes could definetly do a job for us, but im sure i heard 'arry say he would be back at spurs for next season. The time out on loan has benifited him massivley.

However, if we are talking about buying an up and coming midfielder who,s good on the ball, i want us to get dorrans off wba, hes a great prospect.

Not really, but it's a reoccurring tactic of the lone striker pulling the centre half out wide so the support striker aka Cahill can get in the box.

AJ did it. Yak looks like he's getting told to do it. If its true, going on that... I can see the yak getting sold. He was playing well before he was dropped.

And soon to be Irish - cant see Spurs really wannting to strenghten us to be fair.

Nzogbia all day long boys and gurls - the missing peice for me.

got told a while back by a friend of a friend type thing after he got engaged to dannielle lloyd she wants him at a northern club asap.not a fan really only fit for our bench imo and dont think hed go for that

Talking of great young midfielders, Snodgrass?

Ive liked what ive seen, the question is always there though, league 2 and all that - i think Beckford if he comes will add something because he can finish - but would Snodgrass be better then the say the Gos or a developed Baxter. im far more impressed with Jonjo Shelvey to be honest as a prospect.

i'd rather becchio than beckford, apparently he has a far better attitude. All credit to leeds though, apart from Ankergren and Dickov they've got a cracking young team. Shame they're playing [Poor language removed] at the mo

The boy can finish make no mistake - i think we would be mad not to get him on a free! If it didnt work out a few million the pot from some championship team.
