Most likely any player over 5M will have to be funded though sales. If Mout is the player we need the question is who do we have to sell. For example if we sell Arteta to get him at best we are going sideways.

It seems like the only option would be to put Rodwell on the market. Rodwell cause he's young and still doesn't play much. If Jags didn't get injured then we could have put Lescott on the market and resigned Yobo but that is out of the question now.

Peanut I guess is an option too. Kazan wants him and he could probably fetch 8-10M. However about 1/2 of that money would have to go to get say a Stephen Hunt. So we'd have to sell even more players.

Did you just suggest we sell Rodwell and Pienaar in order to fund a purchase of Stephen Hunt?????????????????

Thats possibly the worst thing ive ever read.

We have some money, the only player we can afford to sell is Anciebebebebebe. We have lots of people who can play upfront. Everybody else is needed within the squad.

There is couple of young and decent player has been linked with us and i think it should be quite useful like:-

Fabian Delph from Leeds who is quick and a left foot player which is hard to find many good left player and most important he is still 19 years old.

Arda Turan from Galatassery which we have been linked also last summer, who is still only 23 with lots of pace and skill to past defender, he might not quite as quick as Walcott but certainly won't be far behind, a player we should get to add attacking strength to the right.

Joao Moutinho is creative player we are looking for we simply can't depend on Arteta and Pienaar all the time, we need to be able to change style when needed.

If we could sign these 3 player it would be great and Top 4 challenge is on, but it would certainly going to cost 25-30M.

So, after that we don't have much left but we still need to fill 2 void in the defence and a back-up striker, since Valente left and Jagielka is still injure.

In the mean time, my solution is have Lescott as Baines back-up and signing a out-of-contract player like Matthew Bates from Middlesbrough as a back-up to Centre Back, re-sign Jacobsen and we have Hibbert as back up to Right Back, then sign JO on-loan once more.

If you ask me if we want to challenge for Premier League title, I think we still need couple of player, a back-up keeper, Glen Johnson, Ashley Young & a World class striker (i.e. Torres, Messi, Teves), although this striker is not a must but it certainly help.

As I feel if we have a top class defence and midfield we should be able to create alot more chance for the striker, I think Yakubu, Saha, Vaughan should score more goal for us.

You could say I am kidding with the title part, since we would have to spend at least another 50M+ to get Glen Johnson would cost 10M+, Ashley Young cost 15M+ & Teves can't quite remember did Man U say Teves cost something like 25-28M.

Don't know what you guys think but I think these player on top should make us a pretty good team?

What's your version?

Looking at the squad profiles today on the official web site I think we need to strengthen the defence.

With Nuno going and Jags injured, Irving also gone I think we need a couple of back ups to push for competition>

A few good BBQ's in the good weather, and a great time on holiday in the south of France :P

Hope some of Everton's priorities come to fruition in the next month, I'm off today to the south of France. Back at the beginning of September.

:bye::bye:

1; Juan Roman Riquelme .
2 ; Jaskaaleinen .
3 ; ( Sorry , Goat , but .. ) Not Fukn Moutinho . Not now . Not ever .
4 ; Berg .
5; Tuncay .

Perm any 3 from 5 .

1. Riquelme is finished, watched him a few times last Season and hes a shadow of the player he once was. Whether thats because hes playing at a crap level I dunno, but hes not the player we need.
2. Jaskaaleinen is not a huge step up from Howard and wouldnt be cheap I would imagine.
3. Oh please, watch the legend, then you will feel like I do.
4. Yea I would take him, but not for the £10m they want.
5. Again, would take him, but not at the £8m they want.
