Would be brilliant but the chances of him coming here are less than zero. If Spurs look to sell him this summer there will be bigger clubs than us in for him.

Not always L, - people said the same about Walcott and Schneirderlin.

About time our fans stop with the defeatism - we are the only club outside of the top 6 (possibly Leicester also) who offers the sort of wages needed to attract the bigger players and if they want to stay in England unless another top 6 club want them then they will likely end up at us.

I do agree mate, but we were the biggest club in for Schneiderlin and Walcott. There was no way either guy was going to either go up in level or even sideways. If Spurs look to sell Wanyama, I think Liverpool and Chelsea would be all over him. Even Man Utd if Pogba is sold. I'm amazed he doesn't get more game time at Spurs, I rate him very highly.

We need to stop buying random players based on availability, we need to find an identity and style of football and bring players who fit into a cohesive and desired system of play. Too many square pegs have been bought into an already bloated yet hugely unbalanced squad.

Players bought by four different managers are still recognised as regular starters in our squad. Four different managers who”s individual preferred style of play could be best be considered as pragmatic, adventurous, unknown to the current turgid and disinterested. With such differences of what we are trying to do from the manager, with our first foray with a Director of Football who has never explained what his remit is, it isn’t that difficult to see why we can look a little laboured at certain times this season!!

Everton, get a grip. Punt Allardyce, bin or move Walsh to a role he may be capable of doing, bring in a new DoF (or don’t) and get a manager who has proven skills in developing a style of football that makes us hard to beat, changes a beaten before we play any team away mentality, talks regularly and honestly to the media and to the fans about what he is trying to do....and he will be guaranteed support and time to implement that vision. You know, we may get somewhere.

Or, carry on with what we are doing and go nowhere until we sleep walk to relegation and wonder how did that ever happen.

How much money do you think we have like. Only like 6 of those would come here.
