To be honest why stick with players who will be relegated this season, lets go and see what sunderland, hull & middlesbrough have hiding still in there squad. Im sure Lamina Kone would e interested

We have a fundamental issue in signing players based on performances at teams that play nothing like ours.

Keane is a great defender for a team that defensively set up like Burnley; we want to be all expansive and exotic and look what happened?

Signing West Brom and Stoke players, that play nothing like the fans want, is absolutely pointless.

Sign players that play in systems we would like to emulate. (Obviously there are exceptions too)

this. Not playing at United because there are bettter players in your position is one thing but not playing for other reasons like fitness or being unprofessional.... we don't need that.
