Get shut of Williams and Shniederlin.

Buy a left back, centre half and a midfielder.

I want to see what Vlasic and Lookman can do with an established centre forward now in place (Tosun)

Klaassen situation will be interesting. He could come good but has been dreadful this season.

I would go for Gibbs and Evans at West Brom, Gibbs would be a decent back up for Baines and Evans as a new Jags. I think if we have about 6 players coming in we need a few of the players to have premier league experience, so that they settle quickly
That is true. It's a shame Pickford Martina Keane and Sigurddson were from another league, really hurt that it you them so long to adjust to the Premier League

There absolutely is. I’d take Bertrand from Saints, Butland/Allen from Stoke (not arsed what anyone says, Joe Allen is a good player), and Chadli off West Brom. People say we should be aiming higher etc, but our squad is full of absolute guff, and these boys can all play.

Definitely, him or Bertrand would slot straight in. Id have Wilshere off Arsenal too anyday, big upgrade on Davies.
Agreed

We need three additions in the summer up the spine of the team and a young left back to eventually replace Baines.

Those three need to be real quality that will hopefully tie the team together. A left sided centre back to go alongside Keane; a playmaker to go alongside Gana and another player for the front three.

The only player I'd take from any of the teams potentially getting relegated for the key three spots would be Alfie Mawson. Other than that we should be trying to do what we did with Tosun and finding the Champions League quality players who are willing to sign on for the project. Like someone said before, buy above ourselves if we can.

Who knows who it will be because say we do get Fonseca he may have one or two Shaktar players who could come in. What it can't be is Jones, Wilshere and Vardy under Allardyce.

Next season we will hopefully see more from the fringe players too like Klaassen, Vlasic and Lookman. We have the makings of a squad if a top manager comes in and finds the right formula and adds a few key parts.

Don’t think that I would want to bring in loads of players as we saw this season that integrating the players into the team can be problematic....
We def need a left back with pace who can both attack and defend well preferably one who is young with a high ceiling, I like tierney from Celtic or the lad from Augsburg but would settle for shaw from United.
Centre half again needs recovery pace so we can play a higher line and needs not to be terrified every time the ball comes near him like Williams. Not sure who on this one.
Midfield I’d like Wilshere if we can get him despite his injury record plus dendoncker from anderlecht. If not them it’s got to be someone who can dictate the play from deep like Arteta used to or even Barry in Martinez season one.
That would do me, bringing back some of the loanees to fill gaps in squad and getting rid of the dross...

I think a striker on loan with raw pace would be an idea as a Plan B.

What about Jonas Hector from Cologne. Was linked with Chelsea and Liverpool not so long ago, they are both seemingly set up for a few years now. Hector only 27 also.

Barring a miracle Koln are likely to get relegated as well so will probs have a few looking to leave. Hector, Horn (pants this season), Heintz, Mere, Bittencourt, Osako all decent.

Really not sold on Gibbs. Especially as a backup. We need a starter. Despite baines playing well in last 2 games, he needs replaced sooner rather than later. As far as Evans goes, yes, he could do a job but he will likely go to a top 6 side due to his remarkably cheap relegation release clause. It’s a risk free situation for them.

A left back is as big a priority, as any other position imo.
You only have to look at how Coleman after a long lay off and still not match sharp.

And a 33yr old past his best Baines has changed our team. Full backs are so important in the modern game. And we need a quality left back in the summer.

Well in that case another player I'd take from the teams below us (who could go down) would be Bertrand. Mawson and Bertrand and then after that look for players in that same bracket as Tosun who have that Champions League pedigree but sit in that sweet spot where they may still be attracted by the Premier League.

Maybe even the odd player from one Shaktar Donetsk would fit that bill...

How about Luke Shaw, he was supposed to be the new Baines. We did good when we got Howard after United dropped him, he'll certainly be eager to prove Jose wrong.
