Suggestion for Silva (Defence, Attack etc)

I though West Coast Eagles fans were hysterical. Seems to be a common theme world wide. Tempo and style up there with top 4. Jiffie Joffy hoppy long, its a long way from there cob

Everton style of play and tempo is up there with the top 4, only the player calibers n skills aren't as top notch aside a couple of them that can carry the type of game play. And Everton played too open a game and the defence contingency mindset as a team against any form of counter attacks needs to be addressed, else opponents will just capitalise on our openness n punish us. When we loose possession, more often than not we shouldn't be pressing too high up in their part of the pitch in a non controlled fashion. We should dropped back at least to our half (esp against the top 4) and execute a tighter pressing fr that part of the pitch, leaving no room for their 'clever' runs behind our back four.

Either you’re a WUM or you’re just chatting wham. Joined today, 1st post. Mmmmmm

When we play teams in the top six our strategy needs to change if we are to avoid a battering like the game on Sunday against Spurs....

It is a big concern when we look so exposed when we are attacked it makes us look so naive...

It was a bit of a reality check Sunday & shows us where we really are against the top teams...

The writing was on the walls against Watford & Newcastle earlier during the month & it should have been no surprise as we have previous versus West ham earlier on in the season...

EFC tried to take on Spurs individually - one on one - and were found out big time.

I think Silva would have been disappointed by the lack of class by a big number of our players.

But what irked me was that once again our attack failed to function. Richarlison had another mare, Walcott
did nothing - goal apart- and Calvert-Lewin was game but limited.

Midfield died when Gomes went off to be replaced by that useless lump of Morgan who is slow and does not have
a single redeeming feature.

Sliva has to unload a number of players - Niasse, Morgan, Mcarthy, Tosun - loan out another bunch and buy a top
centre--forward. Maybe with luck we could be ready for next season but this one is over.
