Apparently woman footballers are up 7x more likely to suffer ACLs so a study is being done to get to the bottom of it.

Surely this is simply woman’s physiology is different to men’s isn’t it?
Isn’t this just a symptom of woman playing a sport that evolved for men, similar to how woman are more likely to suffer concussion in woman’s boxing?

Male and female physiology evolved over thousands of years for particular specialisms, while those specialisms have become more mixed in the last couple of hundred years, can thousands of years of evolution be ignored?

Needs cross examining against athletics and gymnastics. They weight of the boots? Pushing to far with weights in the gym? It's got to boil down to contact and collisions hasn't it. Where do achilles ruptures factor?

Think he would struggle to spell ACL.
How do you spell it?

Anyway, the reason for this has been understood for decades at least. Women are more knock-kneed than men, i.e. their legs bend inward at the knee.

I remember reading an article many years ago about how ac milan measured their youth players for this reason, so they could include that in their evaluation.

No. This is why men are more likely to stab themselves whilst knitting and break things emptying the dishwasher. Horses for courses or should that be Nags...(Before you start, this is entirely in jest)
