strikers?

Is it just me or is it obvious we need more goal scoring options? Leading on from two 0-0 results we need to score a goal! I dont understand why we havent gone in for a proven gosl scorer like jermaine defoe or demba ba. Defoe would bag loads of goals n cost less than kone but hes linked with teams like stoke and newcastle! Any thoughts?

The last 2 games in the premier league we have not created that many clear cut chances, would a new striker change that?? Other than the chance Barkley played through for Jelavic and he hit on the outside of his right foot, all our other chances have been shots outside the box.

I have a feeling we'll add one today. It has to be a concern to Martinez...in fact he conceded as much post match Saturday. I think it'd need us ditching one of Velios/Anichebe/Jelavic mind you. Or maybe we can get shut of Heitinga to fund it and loan Velios out or something.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see movement on that.

There have been some lovely balls played across the six yard box with noone gambling and coming in on them. i class them as clear cut chances. i thing we need a goal poacher.
