Keep thinking how said he must have felt when he got told he was not going to be kept on after the loan, making me sad.

He may be leaving San Lorenzo after only 3 games. Seems something is amiss....

it's a translated page btw

[h=1]Denis Stracqualursi did the first "victim" of the AFIP?[/h]

The striker, who only played three games in the Cyclone, discusses the possibility of leaving the club for the inhibition imposed by the agency.

The intervention of the AFIP to irregularities in the passes of several players during the last recess in Argentine football could take its first "victim". This is Denis Stracqualursi , flamboyant player San Lorenzo , after inhibition by the agency could leave the club Boedo.
While some players plan to keep other options in their recent clubs, as Jonathan Bottinelli, who declared a free agent and paid a huge sum of pocket to fix the issue, the former striker of Tiger would leave about Boedo institution.
It happens that his agent, Jorge Czyterpiller not yet reached an agreement with the collection agency and so the situation is very complicated. At the same time, the set of possible analyzes Boedo hiring Alan Ruiz (Gimnasia La Plata) by the serious injury Leandro Romagnoli.
However, the possible departure of Stracqualursi opens a dilemma for San Lorenzo, which at its low change plans and go in search of a striker to supplant.

So he'll maybe be a free agent, I hope he doesn't blot his copybook by turning up at the shoite.

I heart the Stracq. Emotion and endeavour in a blue shirt goes a long way.

But he was badly gash.

Was better than given credit for. He could control the ball well enough and lay it off intelligently. He brought the rest of the team into play, which at a time when Saha and Cahill were contributing as much as I was to the cause, meant a bloody lot. He provided the platform for better performances that we badly needed at the time, and I for one won't forget it. Good luck Straq

agree, he was no Van Persie, but he was certainly no Heskey or Brett Angell either.

To be fair Heskey was semi-prolific at Stracq's age.

Stracq was reasonably intelligent and yes his lay offs were good, but his technique was poor. Not close to Everton standard quality-wise, but his attitude and passion was refreshing and indeed rejuvenating at the time. I wish the lid all the best.

Worked his arse off for the club and for that he will have my respect, always. Sad to say, though, he simply was not good enough for the club and we could do better.

Bit off-topic but as ****e as he is now I remember how in his Leicester and Liverpool days, Heskey was ace, that aceness carried him along way past his stints with those clubs though. Lucky man.

Oh christ yes. Technically not very good. But he was effective, and technique isn't the be all and end all. Neville and Hibbert have made pretty good careers for themselves.

Anyway, it doesn't matter. I'm pleased for what he did for us and I wish him the best for the future.
