A late West Ham goal and we'd have been seventh.
I know it's not a popular view but I've been thoroughly enjoying this season warts and all. we've got such an exciting young side that the negativity has been alarming to me at times.
Just begging people to recognise what this side can achieve with support and give them and Martinez a free pass for this season.Let them entertain and learn without all the pressure and poison that was there at Swansea game. We can also enjoy Leicester giving the big guns a bloody nose and take it as a sign that anything is possible.
I agree at least 95%! We were boss today and a lot of the pundits / commentators were purring over our play - both going forward and (FINALLY!) defending a lead in textbook fashion.

That being said, one of the things I REALLY hate about being an Evertonian is the stick we give our players/the manager(s) at times. I totally agree with oldblue's points: give the team some time to bond and get behind them FFS! We really should/could be up there with Spurs/Leicester with a bit better organisation but ragging on the players, booing them, tweeting abuse at them etc etc is totally counter-productive. I don't really care what our players earn because that's the nature of the beast nowadays. However, they are still human and need POSITIVE motivation

Spot on this but sadly there are established posters on here who enjoy defeat..

Watching the highlights then was so joyful, great to see Rom finally hit the 20 mark after a couple of scoreless games, Coleman's header was a beast (and a nod to Jags for pulling Muniesa away to allow him the run to head it) and Lennon's was a superbly composed finish. Just wish Butland hadn't touched Rom's header or Kone had been a bit more composed in that one on one
