Having grasped the nettle once Martinez won't let go in a hurry. Even when back to 'fitness' Timbo may be back on the bench, knee deep in the usual platitudes, about 'no need to rush back too soon' could play if 'really' needed, but it won't hurt to manage his return in stages and all that sort of guff.
Baring a real injury or a spate of Howard-esque poor games Robles is in for the duration. Our 'Star-jump Trooper' might get a game or half Vs Norwich
Keepers rarely come on for the last 10 or 20 like outfield players returning from injury. I would suspect the return road for Howard lies through Joel's fitness.

....just watching the match back again and noticed something very positive. The Coleman header was about all the things we've been calling for in respect of corner kicks. I'm not so much talking about the delivery, it is more the movement of players.

The indication is that it's something they have been working on. If it is its welcome but we'll see.

Eggs, half the problem with our corners this past couple seasons has not been about the delivery, but about about the fact there was no movement in the box and no one attacking a corner ball which was arriving plumb in the kill zone.

This was making the kick taker look bad and masking the real fault.

Looks like this has been addressed, Seamus's gial being a fine example.

Yep. You are right. Crosses per game have been almost the same as past two seasons. Lack of movement was a problem.

....totally agree, Matey. Let's hope it has been addressed and we see a few goals from set pieces going forward.
