At the moment he deservedly has the spot and looks better than Baines has looked in ages. No arguments over here.

That's probably because he'd only played two games at left back prior to today and one was against league two opposition, the other against the worst Newcastle side of all time.

He's playing well today and aside from getting the run around for a while against Swansea he's been good. But I don't believe he's better than Baines or ever has been.
