Sorry mate it I think that's ridiculous. Did no one see us give it away under no pressure and him saving a one on one!! That should of been 2-1 to stoke.

The one-on-one was shot straight at him. He did well to get off his line but I was rather surprised he didn't do a starfish jump again, but it was nothing spectacular. He got off his line and he was shot at.

for the life of me don't know why felli wasn't subbed in that game not only was he playing poor he was about to turn psycho

personally thought he should have been taken off .....but the decision made was play him deeper and what if his head can get on the end of a cross as oppose to no real alternative to combat STOKE s style of play

The thing is Mugs, you expect a keeper to make a save or two a game. That doesn't excuse a calamity.

Totally agree mate. If the post was "Howard should of done much better.." I agree 100%. But the statement was we should blame Howard for the result. Too many variables. Osman should of scored, and so should of Pienaar, Distin could of challenged Jones better or even be positioned better, the long ball tactic didn't work for us and has probably cost us our talisman in the centre with a few games ban. The whole game was a bit of a calamity.

Someone raised a very good point about clean sheets. This needs to change if we want to kick on.

Just don't think it's fair to blame one person.

Pienaar was Everton's best player today - had the shot that we should have had a penalty from - continued to try to play football despite being bummed continuously by Adam and Whelan - made our goal, and almost got the winner. We needed to play to feet more around the box instead of lumping it in from 30 or 40 yards out.

He saved it though mate. If he hasn't we'd be blaming who gave the ball away. It's too fickle, but then again we are football fans haha.

How is a point decent in any way whatsoever. All they do is close down well and clear the ball if it's anywhere near their area. The hard thing to do against teams like that is having the confidence to play passes in tight areas, which we did absolutely fine until we conceded a terrible goal. It should have been another game where it was a question of whether or not we'd have enough quality to break them down, not a scrappy battle of who can get more lucky.

Yet another opportunity thrown away.

Just heard rodgers said they played well. Please tell me this wasnt a joke.

That was as expected to an extent. Our own fault we never won like. Felli was horrendous and Osman and Pienaar's finishing cost us, not to mention tim feckin howard.

Point away from home, I won't be fuming like. We can do West ham

Absolutely.

I'm happy with a point - as said earlier, Stoke are unbeaten for 15 games at home for a reason.

I also think we hoofed too much. It was Stoke ffs.

Well yes. But as Howard has been doing really poor this whole season, his bad goalkeeping is to be highlighted. He's letting the whole team down and it showed on the lads.

problem is hoofing is playing right into stokes gameplan not combating it, get barkley, oviedo or hitz on and try to change it up. not continue doing what's not working

a liability again

Muggins, it was Jags who went up with Jones for the header mate. Not Distin, sorry to be pedantic!

It looked like Howard slipped but doesn't excuse the fact that it was a bread & butter save for a PL keeper.

Osman miss (as many on here rightfully said) hurt us. No composure in front of goal and he seems to somewhat out of form. Just my opinion.
