dot coms were an equity bubble (like crypto), most of these businesses had little going concern. But when you talk about the credit failure of large multinationals that hire lots people and are part of global supply chains then you affect a lot of people in a lot of places.

I'll just settle for another 'dot com' bubble and Tesla going bust, oh and another gold crash would be nice too.

Not to the same extent as the Great Recession but it got very ugly round our way (Bay Area, California)
