still makes me cry

Every now and again, well more like every day, I watch the last few minutes of the semi final and every time Jags' pen hits the back of the net I just want to cry.
Then as Z cars booms out, it's really hard not to relive that sweetest of moments when I never really wanted the moment to end.
Reliving the moments when I just stood there with tears pouring down my face, looking around and watching all the people around me jumping up and down, hugging eachother, screaming, shouting, crying, more hugging, more jumping around and lots of unbridled, raw passion and pure emotion.
Tears of joy and happiness, exhaustion and sheer relief.
In that 20 minutes or so at the end, I felt the force of thousands of Blues, all with one voice. Incredible, amazing and almost surreal.

It was quite simply one of the best days of my life and like all 'best days', I remember it and I just well up inside.

Nah , I had a tear too . With me it was Forever Everton . I was there with me lad , me nephews an neice , Brother-in - law , cousin and mates .

That is beautiful. Couldn't be there in the flesh but was there in spirit. Thankyou for perfect summary of what it meant to us. Obviously can't help but envy those of you who were there, as we all know there is nothing quite like that feeling

Well I was running up and down Bebington screaming into my phone. I am a jinx when it comes to pens, even if I am not in the room they still seem to **** it up, so I walked to the next town.
