i'm guessing they're thinking it as a way of raising awareness for ST holders just in case they've missed messages about having to renew, but this is a terrible way of doing it.

Are they worried about fans losing there own seat or fans not renewing at all? I reckon the sales are poor and its more of a subtle reminder. I would be very surprised if there is queue at Goodison on the 2nd for fans wanting a better spec.

You can bet your bottom dollar they will make a complete balls of it as well and this place will be awash with angry heads complaining that there was a sticker on there seat but they have already renewed.
What they should do is secretly chalk a big white cross on your back as you come that way all the people behind you can see if any better seats are available.

What we need is a variation on the fan cam. Camera swings round the ground at half time and the announcer says "You, yes you laddie. Where's the Season Ticket money then <insert name of supporter here> ?"

oh most definitely. people who have renewed will end up with stickers on their chairs and start fuming because they think the club has fudged up their order and they'll panic. when are they putting the stickers on? hope a couple renew after they've put them on and make bill come down and try and peel the sticker off their seat whilst they watch. a bit like an old-fashioned "kiss my boot"
