Do you think the papers have it in for Everton and their fans ?

i think every paper ,every journo ,every manager and every prem team (apart from utd ) has it in for everton at the moment.we are a very easy target.

they can see a club teetering on the edge in so many ways it seems ,
which is every other prem clubs gain and a big story for journo's.

poor finances , a record loss poor result , poor transfers , fans in despair , dodgy stadium move ,...... its not as if the club aren't handing these cretins enough ammunition to takes pot shots at us.

You'd think so wouldn't you....

I'd absolutely love to know who decided to come up with that?

What a great job they must have, I guess if I got paid to make up random transfer rumours, I'd make up crap too......does there have to be some truth in it somewhere though??

Like the Fernandes or Banega one, stating that we may go for Manny if we don't get the other one...Has Moyes (Everton) spoken to Valencia and the papers are just guessing who we could be after?

Out of all our supposed centre back 'targets' I would much rather Stephen Taylor over- Robert Huth, Phillipe Senderos, Richard Dunne or Sol Campbell.
I agree, any day of the week.

Since we'll need two centre backs when Lescott leaves I'd take Senderos as back up rather than Huth or Dunne.

Of the centre back we've been connected (with or without any substace in the umour) with I would welcome Shawcross, Turner, Taylor and Senderos but I'd pass on Ben Haim, Dunne and Huth. I'm not sure on Campbell, but he'd be to expensive to have as a back up and I don't think he should be good enough to be a starter.
