TX Bill

Player Valuation: £80m
How much longer will he be on the shelf and when is he expected to make his return?

Even though we've been banging goals in for fun this season, I still think we're missing him out on the wing and his tracking back on defense.

Get well soon Stevie P !!!!

I reckon he'll be back in two or three weeks,at least i hope so !

I want him back to restore the balance in the side, and his amazing workrate.

It's been three weeks for a while now to be honest, The offical site hasn't updated the injury list.

he's definatly closer than that.

Said on City today that Hibbert had started training, but didnt mention Pieman, all i ever read is 3weeks, so its either gonna be longer or hes gonna pop up tomorrow or Saturday.

Very painful injury and im sure he wont be rushed back, but i cant wait for his return tbh, he gives us something that no1 else can, cos hes a Natural Winger. Kinda like VDM, so as i said like no1 else.

Strange mate i always view him as an attacking central midfilder pushed wide similar to Arteta, both cut inside an awfull lot.

Yeah i definatly wouldn't say he is a natural winger. To me a natural winger is someone who hugs the byline and can whip past a defender with pace and knock in a decent cross.

Of course Pienar can do that but thats just because he is a highly talented footballer and he can do a lot more than that.

I don't think I've ever seen Pienaar run the byline, beat a man and get a cross in. He very rarely does it, one of his few weak points is his inibility to beat a fullback.

He doesn't need to though, he outhinks them and is too clever. Good movement, intelligent and fast thinking.

Gutted.

He's not a natural winger, far from it. Like TB said he doesn't run at players and try to beat them, he'll cut in or he'll look for a simple/through ball. Mind you, you don't find alot of natural wingers around these days.
