Didn't know his family were all there. Back to Holland would make sense really giving the tweet he made about missing them.

I'd prefer him in the squad for one more season at least before he wanders off.

Fantastic assist today hopefully will quiet his detractors. Very, very clever flick unlocked Villa's defense and provided the much needed breakthrough. Well in, Pienaar!

He's been blowing hot and cold all season, hopefully him, as well as Mirallas, can keep up form for the remainder of the season. If so, we've still got a shot at top 4.

Wasn't fit the other night and was much better today. We have many players in the same boat as him with our injury list so the win today with many players not fully match fit at present was a real bonus given the other results.

He's one of those players that if he isn't 100% fit and sharp, then he is a liability. Good today though

I think with Deulofeu back Pienaar could become a super sub to bring on when games need changing. He was lucky not to be sent off in Derby but his performance today was more in keeping with what we've grown to expect.

Decent at the weekend, but IMO, Pienaar is becoming similar to Osman. A once very good player who just doesn't cut it regularly anymore. Both excellent servants for us in different ways but if we're to progress, we'll nee to improve upon them.
