Bit lazy of me this as I could probably easily found out the answer,

But my question is; Why is Pienaar not going to Africa? Is his country not in the competition?

Yes, South Africa didnt qualify - laughable. We were in a group with Nigera, Sierra Leone and some other crap country which must have been the worst of the bunch since I cant even remember their name. We need to step up big time for the world cup.

Amyone else catch his yesterday saying hes kinda sorta maybe up for staying:

“I made mistakes, but I learned a lot. I was a bit unfit and overweight.

I had personal problems and lost some family members. I was more concerned about driving two hours every weekend to Amsterdam because my mind was still there. Some of the Dortmund players couldn’t accept I came from a Holland club, too. But it was a character-building experience and I knew I had to work hard from the moment I came to Everton.

We were having dinner and all of a sudden I was told as a new signing I would have to sing. That is how the culture is, so you have to get on with it. I sang a famous South African song – Shoshaloza – the sort Nelson Mandela would sing when he was in prison. The national team sings it, so it was in my head. They didn’t understand a word, but it helped me settle in.

I’ve always said I am happy. I’d love to stay and the fans are great. Some people say we won’t progress but we can"

He wants a good contract with more money. He deserves it IMO, he's one of our key players.

If we dont do it, he'll be off because he'll get better somewhere else.

He really has stepped up to the plate since when Mikel got injured. I personally didnt think he'd be up to it but fair play to him has become one of our most influential players.

Spot on lads, he deserves the money he has been as influential as Arteta - since Mikel got injured - no coincidence our results have picked up since hes come back.
