Couldn't help watching today and thinking what a disgrace this fella's performance was in the summer. He's assembled or at least played a big part in assembling a team that can't pass the ball in the final third. The improvement has been there in recent weeks but we are so far away from where we should be.

The attacking side of the team needs ripping apart and starting again.

I reckon Gravy Train Steve was round at Fat Sams on Christmas Day discussing the possibility of bring Schulpp and Crouch in during January

Gravy.....did someone mention gravy?
Big Sam thought PE Steve had a real Gravy Train hence keeping him on....wanted it rail-roaded into Chez Allardyce and pumped off into his storage silo's. You can never have enough gravy.

Hope so of course. But he's done nothing to do earn a penny more.

I can just see loans for him until we eventually let him go.

We got him dirt cheap, because of a clause in his contract. We'd get €10M quite easily based on his La Liga form, his age and the fact there's few strikers around

As I say I hope so.

But can see us loaning him to every Spanish team going for years.

Actually I think I just want him to play better for us. Sadly feels unlikely.

Wonder what this clown has been up to over the last 4 months after his shocking transfer window you would expect him to be on the Ball and getting players in... we all know he won’t be.

Maybe the reason why Koeman has gone and Walsh is still here is because Walsh's recommendations were not followed?

Interesting to see what happens next. Allardyce has quite a network of contacts as well...
