Happen this explains the difficulty we are having finding a new manager.

Some of the people we speak to do not fancy working with a DOF at all.

Others are cool with the idea but do not rate Walsh as owt more than a talent scout and are put off at the thought of him wielding power over them.

He needs binned.
Why is the person responsible with making these decisions always the last to see the reality?
Absolute procrastinating spud.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and (from the outside) it is impossible to know who had the final say on transfer dealings this past summer. However, not signing a replacement for Lukaku is indefensible. He is culpable anyway you try to spin things.. and heads need to roll after that fiasco.

The people at the top will survive - Moshiri, Kenwright, etc. - such is the nature of the beast. But Walsh was intimately involved in summer player recruitment; he needs to be held accountable.

Unfortunately, with Allardyce being the apparent managerial appointment, his reckoning will not be any time soon.

Anyone who ratifies the signings and the subsequent obvious imbalance they created to our squad should be open to a high level of critic. To confound that with what has been reported, his support of BFS, is beyond comprehension.

He is typical of this insular, has to have epl experience, type of appointment, that inevitability leads to mediocre performance.
