Some would say Gravesen

Thats true.

Lindroth and Alexandersson werent really hits were they lol not to mention Kroldrup.

Strange to not scout scandinavia, isnt Isak playing there so that could be a lame duck now...

Could be we will wait till these scandies move away first then go in for them once they impress in another league.

Lars Jacobsen did OK I suppose.

Blomqvist, Degn, Thomsen and Myhre more patchy... I lived next door to Myhre

This is the reason why I hate the DoF role: it just muddies the water about who is doing the damage when things go wrong. I think managers (even those who complain about it) love it on the sly because it allows them to point the finger at someone else for their own inadequacies. Walsh got it in the neck from Koeman yesterday and it served his own narrow objective to deflect away from another damaging cup exit and our season juddering to an abrupt halt.

I read an article recent about Walsh saying he spends the money like it is his own.

This made me think over the schneiderlin thing, is he more unwilling to spend big money on the likes of him because he'd rather find a bargain? I doubt its true but it has made me think about something along those lines

With a mindset like that, he'd fit in well at Everton.

It certainly 'muddies the water' as you say, if koeman or Walsh want a player and there is a disagreement over a player either has targeted. Who has the final decision then?

We dont know. That's the point. DoF at Everton is a hideous addition of another layer of bureaucracy that serves only a manager looking to squirm out of their own responsibilities.
