Spent £105m on relegation threatened players in the summer.

Well done Steve, tell us about Zola you bald tit

They were all Koeman signings. Which says it all, this man has taken 18 months worth of wages for doing absolutely nothing.

See he was there today cuddling up next to Bill, so the rumours of him getting sacked will need to be put on hold for the time being. Disgraceful.

The infuriating thing about it all, is that every ones finger prints are all over this catastrophe

No one had the common sense to stand up and say "hang on a minute Steve (and Ron), you're not signing a load of slow, overpriced cowards"

I think what you would call Walsh's signings are the ones mainly dropped out the team. Sandro, vlasic to name 2 are certainly not given a fair chance by unsworth.

Which if the management aren't playing the players that Walsh identifies then it's pretty damning of his role at the club.

I'd rather have some of our very own FIFA/Football mangers running transfers than this guy. Didn't fill the two biggest holes, Forward and center back. Unreal that he's still employed by the club.

If he let Koeman bully him into buying players he didn't want , he failed at his job.
If he thought this was a proper spend of 100+ million he failed at his job.
If he thought this team was good enough to challenge for a top 6 spot , he failed at his job
If he was director of football and had no list of replacement managers scouted in case koeman faltered he failed at his job.

His actions or lack thereof speak for themselves.

Not quite sure what the point of him is. My understanding is that a DOF not only is involved in player recruitment but should be working to maintain a philosophy and identify managers and coaches that maintain this. And yet hes failed in every window to identify players to take us forward, and appears to have no input as to the manager situation. Even if i did have input i dont trust him to make the correct decision. As a head scout he has failed massively for us, as a DOF it has been a grave mistake appointing him.
