Does anyone really think we will be relegated? Seriously??

Does anyone think Burnley are in the race for a CL place there only 3 points off it now?? No, thought not..
Why? Because we are only just in November..

Please stop with this relegation fight!! Now if the clocks went forward last Saturday then yes we should be worried, they never, so Koff with fathead Sam shouts and all the other short term appointments

It's jsut hard to see were the points are coming from until we address the gaping holes in the squad until Jan, mate.

I doubt we'll be in one, but you can't rule out the possibility atm.

Couldn't agree more we have stank the place out all season with our performances. We lack pace throughout the side, ship goals easily and struggle to create chances let alone score. That is all the recipe you need for a struggling side and the January window can't come quick enough. Whichever manager takes over the helm will have a real job on his hands till January.

I should imagine the initial remitt for the new new manager, whoever he may be, will be simply to tighten up the defence and stop conceding goals, until the window opens and we can sign virtually a new defence.

Walsh is going to have to really prove his worth and pull some rabbits out of the hat for this one.

Mate, I mean no disrespect here, but that's the sort of attitude that could see us in real trouble

We need to take all of this very seriously - this "we're too good to go down" stuff is dangerous. If we put a few wins together then fine, but until that happens we're in the bottom three and we need to deal with the distinct possibility that we're not as good as we thought we were
We have some very good players and some very good youth players and with the right blend and played in their correct positions we will be fine, yes we still need the a few players.. I'm not saying it's impossible for us to go down I'm saying it's way to early to worry about it

Might be a good idea for Walsh to at some point give an interview to Everton TV about what his role actually entails. I imagine the club would like to project an image of control once we appoint a new manager and that would be a good start.

I just wonder what’s likely to happen in the January window. The bean counters at Everton will probably argue that the squad is good enough and better to keep the powder dry and go again next season. That for me would be a horrendous and flawed approach.

I can almost hear the comments to the effect that Séamus is returning to fitness as will Ross so that’s two new players.

Irrespective who the hell in terms of a top player is going to want to come to Everton as things stand? If as I suspect that Unsworth gets the job then their won’t even be the attraction of a new and experienced manager

I keep hearing that there ar3 a lot of good players at Everton and yes many of those signed pre season played better at their previous clubs but other than Pickford who for me has potential but at this point in time in no more than an average PL keeper I struggle to see how things are going to get better.

As much as Koeman deserved to be sacked, Walsh is really lucky to still have his job. The amount of money spent on a glaringly incomplete squad reeks of incompetence. Perhaps, the budget was too much for him and he would rather operate on the bargains like Gana.
