What data do you think he's got?
Personal scouting notes, opinion, insider info on perspective players. Emails, texts, naked pics of god knows what. Point being we would have to start from scratch when I am not sure we can afford to.

I am going on personal experience here but when you trade on knowledge for your livelihood you always keep your most valuable info where no one else can access it. Not on your phone, tablet or company laptop. I have 20 years of personal notes and info in notebooks in my house. Kept in a small safe detailing all my negotiations and deals.

Then again maybe I am just a lunatic but the more you share of your process and methodology the less unique and valuable you become on the market.

Apparently Sam’s got a personal entourage of 66 that he insists go with him, even the USM Finch Farm Chef won’t be safe.

Yeah Big Dunc will go as well. Would Unsworth be safe? Seems like getting Allardyce would be more hassle than he is worth....and he isnt worth much.

..I think the entourage contain lots of analysts. To be fair, he brought analysis into the game before it became a business, always going on about where % of goals come from etc. He bases his strategy on football science.

Personally I don't think koeman did, not to the extent to go and get him. The deal was probably done months in advance by kenwright thinking he was signing some world class player for peanuts, koeman isn't exactly going to bad mouth the player he knows he is getting?

I believe koeman did want both of them. Siggurdson to play on the left as he did and klassen as Barkley replacement in the side. Take into account for both of them to work we need a centre forward to play to their strengths which we never brought in.

As for dropping players, take into account klassen was first choice in June whence signed him and somehow became 4th choice by the start of the season because of our crazy transfer policy. If klassen had not had 3 other players in his position then maybe we may have got to see more of him so far
I'm not sure. I think Klassen was bought to replace Tom Davies. Sigurdsson was bought to replace Barkley.

Yeah I like that to be honest. Its just I dont like what he represents. Getting him in would be a sure sign of our need to escape relegation.

Does anyone really think we will be relegated? Seriously??

Does anyone think Burnley are in the race for a CL place there only 3 points off it now?? No, thought not..
Why? Because we are only just in November..

Please stop with this relegation fight!! Now if the clocks went forward last Saturday then yes we should be worried, they never, so Koff with fathead Sam shouts and all the other short term appointments

...you tend to get a team doing better than expected and a team doing worst than expected but the league does settle down after 10 games. Defeats are a concern but the manner of our defeats are more of a concern. Regardless of who plays, regardless of who we play we look impotent up front and porous at the back.

Agree, but once we get a decent manager in then we will start picking up points then hopefully we have 2-3 strikers and CB lined up for the first week in January.. BTW I posted this in the wrong thread

Mate, I mean no disrespect here, but that's the sort of attitude that could see us in real trouble

We need to take all of this very seriously - this "we're too good to go down" stuff is dangerous. If we put a few wins together then fine, but until that happens we're in the bottom three and we need to deal with the distinct possibility that we're not as good as we thought we were
