I've put two and two together.

One interview describing Walsh as "green around the negotiating table"

The next day another interview stating that he had "Giroud in the door".

Throw on top of that the text messages from the lad at Goodison who documented the blame game between them after the Arsenal match.

You can all believe what you like but he's basically said that this is Walsh's fault.
Fair enough mate, ta x

I now demand 6m a year given the standard of others applying for the job, also now I am not willing to even leave my house, I can start Tuesday.
Can start the day before yesterday, but seeing as other offers are on the table, my demands are 5m.

All else fails we can both be directors and pocket as much as we negotiate, like. Win win scenario for everyone (except Everton).

This feller is making a career as Everton DOF off the back of scouting 3 players (Who themselves were made to look great due to the workings of a great manager) and has just scouted £150m worth of utter pap - get rid ASAP.

You see this is truly mental and total narrow thinking.

Think cost, sales and benefit, how many 10s of millions has he made Everton that without him we wouldn’t have.

More then justifying his existence.

Based on the quality of the candidates making themselves availble in this thread, I think we should hire this guy:

You mean by us selling our best players and him spunking the money off those sales on a load of rubbish?
