Pretty clear Koeman is in charge, he decides who he wants and not Walsh.

Not at Everton, they've let Koeman have the say. The current system is a mess.I don’t get the role of DOF. It looks like the manager has to work under him regarding transfers.
Yeh that can't be right. No sane DoF would think "oo what about Cuco Martina?"

Not when it's the manager calling the shots.Walsh isn't a scout. He's the director of football. If we have an unbalanced squad, if we signed 5 players who all play in the same position, that's down to Walsh as much as Koeman.
Walsh clearly signs the younger players and scouts/recommends players but the manager decides who to buy. Look at the article on dispute between Koeman and Les Reed at Southampton. He wants established first team players that exactly who we've signed. These are Koeman's players. If that is the case, what exactly does Walsh do? Koeman wants the players he wants of course, but surely Walsh's job is to find/sign them?
Not when it's the manager calling the shots.
Speculation to an extent but backed up by story in papers and logical given the players we've signed and Koeman's comments.Speculation. And if true Walsh needs sacking for being useless.
Not when it's the manager calling the shots.
No it is not.Walsh and Koeman worked together to sign the players we did in the summer.
This is a fact.
