Steve Walsh - no longer our Director of Football

Not even remotely the job of a DoF.

Obviously it varies from club to club. But from what I've read about the role at many clubs it would definitely fall under the remit. I would consider it to be a core part of the role. If it's not at everton then he is effectively just a glorifield scout.

Who does he get his marching orders from? Walsh also doesn't set tactics or lineups every week. This mess starts at the manager position and at the board who seems complacent with this on-field product.

I don’t get the role of DOF. It looks like the manager has to work under him regarding transfers.
