I think Mclaren is a much better prospect than many other rumoured names. Can't say he hasn't got the experience what with the England job and has done a good job with his current club. Wonder if he'd pick up a scouse accent and drop the Dutch?

What current job? He's unemployed. And he failed big time at forest and Wolfsburg.

I like him. The whole england thing was a bit of a fiasco but that was just one of those things, namely us being gash. Wrong man at the wrong time.

Highly regarded in the footballing manager world as I'm led to believe!

If you haven't played under him you can't really have an opinion, though. Sorry.

You don't just become England manager just because they like your face, I think Steve McClaren is a excellent manager - whether he's right for the club is another matter though.

Many people have been saying it ever since the Moyes leaving rumour started. It's no good saying our club can attract good managers when we've got Kenwright and Co. at the helm.
