Listening to the soundtrack now. It's an absolute joy. I was a little disappointed in it watching the movie, but I think it might be the sound editing, explosions over the top of it, masked voices etc. It's got some very strong themes with a mix of old and new.

24 hrs on, and reading everyone's comments on here, Facebook etc has reassured me that I wasn't blinded by my unadulterated love for the franchise. It really is just a quite outstanding film. Deffo 9/10 for me.

And deffo getting it on blu-Ray as soon as it comes out (I'm sure it'll smash all kinds of records)

It's not quite original level yet, but it will keep growing on me. I've listened to the originals for 30 years, so they've got some catching up to do!

Yep, it's like a Star Wars Greatest Hits, but with a brand new evil character who has many interesting story developments awaiting him. This is what we needed after the prequels.

Just seen it with the young un.really enjoyed it and that's the 1st time ive ever known people to start clapping after a film. I won't spoil it for anyone but I thought that scene with leia and the wookie was a bit raunchy
