Stand names at BMD?

I like the simplicity of just North, East, South and West stands. Some may consider this uninspiring, but could be unique also. (someone may have mentioned spurs but idk) Too many great ex-players and figures at the club to leave some out. Save that for lounges or areas around the ground. Exciting times ahead anyway.

I’ve always been on the fence about naming stands after people. The more time passes, the less the new generation appreciates the heritage. It’s just a name of a long forgotten person. Then if they ever want to change it, it’s controversial.

That’s why I like names associated with the club or town. Like some have suggested, Merseyside or Mersey Stand is nice. Maybe a Goodison Stand. Or the Royal Blue Stand. Maybe The People’s Stand. Or Everton Tower or Brow Stand. Any generation can relate to those.

The Big Nev Wall (home end)
The Mersey Stand ... get recognition of where we are
Howard Kendall end (until a mite successful manager earns it)
The WR Dean stand (a bit more classy, and he didn't like Dixie)
