Just come back from Abdullah Quilliam Mosque. Outstanding support from Merseyside but the absolute stars were the Muslim community, who came out of the Mosque offering burgers, tea and drinks to all those supporting them. The Sheikh even went through the police and went over to the far-right to offer them food and to the chance to ask him questions. At the end of it all the Sheikh brought everyone together and said after speaking to them he understood they were scared and that he would host an open event to any of the far-right who have concerns and he would answer any questions about Islam and their culuture. Absolute class.

Regarding the far-right protestors, a lot of them on their side of the street were apparently kids and locals who saw a livestream on Tiktok and just went to see what was going on.

Off to sleep now, up early tomorrow for a day out at Preston North End!!!

Where a lot of this stems from. Farage, Tate et al are massive on it, targeting the 11-25 age category.

Lots of memorials in Southport going on this weekend.

Town hall and other buildings being lit up with pink lights.

Hopefully we hear some more good news about those still in hospital over the next few days!!
