But it's not up to me as a normal person is it? I can say I want people arrested for liking Gary Barlow, it doesn't mean it will happen.

If he got asked to put it away and it was waving it around, there might be a case for arrest there but you seem to be add daily express facts because it sounds like it was a flick knife

Any knife (of any size) is deemed an offensive weapon if it used in a way that is deemed to be intimidating or threatening. If he's took it out, it's likely a crime.

The law allows people to carry a blade of 3" or less, including a folding knife, but again the caveat is the above and flick/lock knives are exempt.

You get the question of, "Well how can a chef move their knives around?" The law's simple - it has to be hidden and there has to be good cause to possess it.

It's no different to having a golf club under your seat in the middle of the night compared to having your golf clubs in the boot in the golf bag.

I did answer than in my next post but my point here was the source. A flick knife is illegal in any way. The weapon seems to have taken 10 Viagras an hour
