Was in Southport yesterday, sickening if the early reports are to be believed, What a tragic incident.

Some victims been taken to Alder Hey, suggests the rumours of kids involved are true.

40 years in prison isn’t fun , a couple of weeks isn’t but each to there own but this isn’t the place for this debate .

Just hope reports of casualties are not accurate , terrible news.

Those who commit crimes against humanity should be treated differently to the rest of society, human rights are for humans, not evil animals.

Sadly, there is always additional care given when children are involved, especially as victims. I hope that I'm wrong, yet I suspect there'll be some fatalities.

Tend to disagree. From videos they seem to enjoy it in jail with their similar minded friends, even attacking the prison guards (the Manchester arenas brother).

Not to joke about but there’s been a serious amount of women guards having inappropriate relationships with the criminals, there’s been about 4 in the news the last few months.

Surely for crimes this horrendous the death penalty makes a lot of sense.

I know the lags with a heart of gold stereotype is (and always has been) mostly lies but we don’t have a prisoner in the system whose stabbed a load of kids in one incident.

Even if you're flying on blues, with a casualty it's a good 25-30 minute drive from Southport to Alder Hey. I suspect they'll use all air assets they can get there.
