@Yid4life Do you think Conte is the right coach to get the best out of Kane?
I mean considering his style of football and the type of striker that Kane is...

Was having this convo with my Spurs supporting uncle, and he's not sure. What do you think?

It doesn't look like it at the moment but he did get chances vs Norwich that he would normally put away so perhaps he is turning the corner. It doesn't help that, apart from Son, we don't have any players that can cross a ball.

I can tell you one thing though.

An angry short Italian man... I'd be scared to get on Conte's bad side. That hot Mediterranean blood.
Lot's of Italian swear words and hand gestures, plates of spaghetti being smashed against the locker room wall...

Maybe belittling Kane in Italian will get him to perform?

This is exactly what Spurs would have wanted in all honesty. Even if they had have beaten Rennes in a rearranged fixture and finished 2nd, I think they would have then had to have played an additional play-off match against a 3rd place Europa League team, all to just progress to the knock out round of the Conference League. That’s a whole load of fixtures I’m sure they can do without.
