Spurs

This is very similar to Liverpool hiring Klopp in 2015. It will be a slow burner but gradually Spurs will improve to the point where they'll be challenging for the title in 3-4 years. Conte will do a Juventus 2011 job on this Spurs squad imo.

He's only signed an 18 month contract....

basically

18 months wouldn't make me feel confident about this appointment, but he does have a lifespan of 2 years on average at clubs so Levy finally did something right, gets a top coach in with not much compensation seeing as Nuno got £14 million compensation for 4 months work, i still shake my head in bafflement on why they sacked Poch in the first place.

They won't get top 4 this season but will win the Europa Conference and maybe League Cup as well.

So, more than the RS did last season.

They binned Poch because you beat them 2-0 in the CL final.

Typical shoitehouse reporting in the Daily Mail today my fellow Blues.
Almost two full pages devoted to Spurs' journey in UEFA's equivalent of the FA Trophy while Leicester only warrant one column, and West Ham just about a full page, once you've got past the Spurs news.
Is it worth me reminding these alleged sports journalists that the Europa League is a superior and more well established competition, or do they think that the Lincoln Red Imps can push for the 'Champions' League knockout stage sometime this century?
