Doesn't the league cup winner go into the new knockoff Europa League? I could well be wrong, haven't got a clue what's happening with it anymore. Can't remember what it is, but it's the 3rd tier comp with twice as many games in.

So cup winners get Europa, and 5th (7th if top 4 win the cups) gets the new comp?

Basically the same as before but carabao cup gets Europa conference or if the side that wins it finishes in the top 6 already then 7th gets Europa conference.

FA Cup gets Europa League but if already qualified for europe 6th spot gets Europa.

Be peak Everton if we had a solid season finishing 6th/7th and someone else takes the european spots!

Must admit I dont mind Spurs but would leave a sour taste if they win the League Cup when you consider how easy they have had it - got past Leyton Orient on a free pass then beat Stoke in the quarters, Brentford at home in the Semi's you couldn't ask for an easier run in.

But you still have to win those games.
You beat Salford City and I think Fleetwood Town, along the way we also beat Chelsea (when they were doing well) and that's comparable to you playing Man Utd which you lost.
