I don't think he is a bad player just not as good as some make out, but i think in general we have a habit of overrating players in this country, it's a real issue imo.

Its the usual 'build them up to knock them down' scenario.

Kane & Dele had the media portraying them as the saviours of English football and now it is time for them to be slaughtered. We have seen it all before. We will see it all again.

I well remember GoT telling me after the 2014-2015 season that Kane was a one season wonder since when he has scored 101 prem goals in 133 games & 14 goals in 18 CL games.

Tbf, there's a wide range of opinions in here, you can even find lads who thought Aiden McGeady was great

CL & PL double nailed on.

Either that or we will bottle our way into the top 4 again as we have done for the last 4 seasons. Only Spurs and Man C have managed that despite operating on a completely different playing field. We have averaged 4th place for the last 10 seasons. Not too bad for perennial bottlers i suppose.

Dele Alli has played in the semi-finals of the World Cup, Nations League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup in the last 14 months.Not too bad for a rubbish, overrated player i suppose.

Think the next couple of seasons will be huge for Spurs,could have been starting as chanpions of Europe and knowing they let themselves down will hurt,if they dont win something this coming season I can see a few getting restless,for all that the stadium looks superb players want medals/money,how long will it be before the benefits of the new ground take effect?
