Spurs are competing in the same goup of teams as the 2 richest clubs in the league/world in Chelsea & City, two of the biggest clubs in the world in United and Liverpool as well as Woolwich & have held our own for a decade. Bottlers.

CL & PL double nailed on.

Either that or we will bottle our way into the top 4 again as we have done for the last 4 seasons. Only Spurs and Man C have managed that despite operating on a completely different playing field. We have averaged 4th place for the last 10 seasons. Not too bad for perennial bottlers i suppose.

Dele Alli has played in the semi-finals of the World Cup, Nations League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup in the last 14 months. Not too bad for a rubbish, overrated player i suppose.

I sense that there is some sort of subtext here

Make or break season for them next season

Still got a very good team and manager but can see eriksen going it he gets an offer. Lloris is getting on
, dele alli has been seriously shabite for about 18 months

Dembele was a massive loss for them. Boss him

I mean Dele Alli has massively fallen off, Not sure what defense you can make for him just because he got picked in important games because Spurs have no better alternative.

You get no cups for finishing fourth sunshine. He ain't known as Potless Potch for nothing.lol

We got an £800mn Stadium out of it.

If we are bottlers what does that make teams that finish below us & win less than us having spent more money?

Well he scored in the FA Cup semi-final, set up two of Moura's goals in the Champion's League semi-final, won the free-kick for our goal in the WC semi-final etc. Respectable for a rubbish player.

I thought i was being subtle?

About as subtle as a sledgehammer. :)

I don't know why you take it to heart. Understandably we are not Spurs' greatest fans at the moment so you are going to have to expect a few gibes. I can see from your point of view that on the whole Spurs have done well, really well. However that is/was a great team and one that should have had something to show for it. In 20 years time all it will look like is a barren run with almosts and nearlys thrown in.

There is still time for Spurs to elevate themselves into that group and pick up a trophy or two but this is a big season, if Levy doesn't back Poch, or doesn't keep the best players and form dips the chance could be lost. Then you might have to spend less to pay back the stadium without the CL and extra sponsorship it brings. Fine lines and all.

Still, it's a far cry from the world class wonder player that the media and certain pundits will have you thinking he is.

Not rubbish m8 talented player just think he's fallen off the deep end last season massively.

He's still a 22 year-old kid who has hardly had a break in 3-4 years. Often gets played out of his best position which is just off 1 or 2 strikers. Case in point he played in his best position yesterday and had a good game.

I don't really. Just enoying the bantz bruv.

I well remember GoT telling me after the 2014-2015 season that Kane was a one season wonder since when he has scored 101 prem goals in 133 games & 14 goals in 18 CL games.

So i always take a keen interest in pearls of wisdom regarding Spurs players and management ;-)
