Barry can't close anyone down. Whoever he come after has ALL DAY to do whatever they want, often deep into our half. That's not going to work, especially down a goal.

But people giving Kane credit for a desperation strike are being ridiculous. Was it a good shot? Sure. But come on guys. Joel is 6'5" and it was from 30 yards. No way that shouldn't have been saved. No, this isn't all about Joel, but IMO his performances the last couple matches have been overrated. He's been fine. So this isn't about one mistake and we need a new keeper, but it is a mistake that shouldn't be made.

The most depressing thing about that first half, for me anyway, is that all the confidence I had for the upcoming derby has completely evaporated because what you say is 100% correct.

We have this shellacking to look forward too again at The Pit in three weeks time.

Said it when I saw the team. We're set up wrong from the start. Haven't got a problem in going slightly defensive but it's the way he's gone about it I didn't like. Three defensive midfielders trying to do the same job. No width. Getting in each others way. The only good thing is that we're still in this.

I'd take off Barry and bring on Holgate. Both Williams and Mori look far better in a back 3. Baines and Coleman providing bit more width and Barks/Davies supporting Rom a but more. Their defence is holding a high line which always gives us a chance. Let's do it Blues.
