I really, really wish people would stop excusing Sigurdsson because he's "out of position". It's total BS.

No its not.

It's absolutely not.

What is in inexcusable is people constantly excusing who is playing in a position to suit him, to the detriment of the entire rest of the side.

Get rid off Rooney and let Sigurdsson play in the middle, get a DMC who can actually keep the ball and pass, get couple of wingers for both wings who has some understanding in passing play. Replace wing backs with someone who can take part in build up play other than longing the ball forward whenever they get into touch. And either Holgate should gain some weight or I can see him getting overpowered when matched with a decent CF.

Plenty didn't want him and you can see why.
The initial period got us out of trouble. And we were in trouble no doubt about it.

15 more games of this very poor gutless team and god dam awful manager. Going to be a long hard slog watching this tosh 15 more times till the season ends and even then there is no guarantee that things will change in the summer.

I would be shocked if they do. I think Walsh has blown the money.
