Match Thread Spurs V Everton - 24th May 4pm

As a club who benefitted hugely from other trams maintaining the integrity of the competition in the past (Vialli's Chelsea four days before a Cup Winners' Cup final in 1998, for example), what a disgrace we will be if we phone in a performance on Sunday.

I'll never forget the integrity of Viall. I'd like to think Moyes and his players will have half of that in them on Sunday.

Moyes is a good professional regardless of what people think of his actual ability during games (as it was hopeless second half v Sunderland).

People saying West Ham sacked him twice...West Ham also gave him a go at prem level again after his poor spells at Man. United, Real Sociedad and Sunderland. And his second spell gave him his best night in football management. Topped anything he's done here.

So he'll want them to stay up and will send a motivated team out. This side at various stages of the season has got loads of excellent away results so losing this match 2 or 3 nil regardless of what is at stake for Spurs would be a very poor performance and I'm not expecting it.

Only issue is I get the feeling after O'Brien's mistake he might want to give Seamus a farewell start and he'll massively struggle that side against Tel/Udogie. Would 100% need McNeil infront of him. Would rather he gets another 10/15 minute cameo.

Did you not see his last cameo performance, this club isn't a charity. He's finished so leave it there.

Garner at rightback, rohl in the middle and Dibling on the right wing. It's not difficult. Everton just make it look that way.

Rest Ndiaye for this one and give Tyrique George a proper run out, also give Harrison Armstrong and Tyler Dibling a good go at some point in the second half.

To be honest, I don't disagree. I am a major critic of Moyes, but I do believe him to be professional. However, if he selects Seamus, then he is in no way serious about the integrity of the competition or winning this game.

Not sure why they’d say that. He walked second time round. He’s only actually been sacked at Sociedad and Man Utd.
