Is the stadium deal being enabled by a partnership deal with Sainsburys or did I imagine reading that at some point Y4L?

No mate. There is a large new Sainsury's at the north end of the project along with the new University Technical College. Not a partnership as far as i am aware.
Still waiting to hear who has bought the naming rights to the stadium. Im hope is is Chas & Dave.
