Today was unfortunately a reinforcement of what is already known. A player overhaul has to take place or it gets worse next year.

First things first, a manager overhaul. At least we could see if someone with a different approach then try not to lose might get an improvement out of what we have,

We were just lucky they sat back in the 2nd half. On a normal weekend weekend they would have got another couple of goals. As it was, they new they'd already done enough.

The many and varied conspiracy theories are far more interesting and possibly easier to accept but, Ladies and Gentlemen,that is why Everton FC are an utter irrelevance to the Premier League.

By chance we were top of the bill in a last game cliff hanger with the possibility of one of the “big” 6 being relegated. Talk of the media and the worldwide fans.

We brought nothing to the drama.

Moyes just saw away to Spurs. Keep it tight. Play for a draw and maybe nick a goal at the end. I suspect he is secretly okay with only losing 1-0.


Imagine if it had been a ding dong 3-2 epic. Tension. Nail biting. But no. A bit embarrassing really.
No new fans on the back of that.
No interest from the TV companies to give us any better slots next year. Monday Night football.

We need to move on from utter mediocrity.

If honest I would rather be West Ham. Won a euro trophy, tried to up their game. It failed. But it’s probably better than hopefully 10th and no real ambition.

Glad the season is over.

Hopefully things do change. I really hope the ambition is there because we were embarrassing today as the world looked on.

People look down at the Brighton’s and Brentford’s but again they gave it a go.

I really hope a spark is ignited with our club.

I agree. Why Beto didn’t start was crazy. And to keep Barry on for so long made no sense at all. Beto would’ve pushed their defenders around.

The end of season form was unacceptable. But I’m sure the players and staff recognise that. That said, there are signs of improvement, but we need upgrades in a number of key positions.

I just don’t see the point of playing him even if Beto carried a knock. It’s worse than playing with 10. I’d rather see one of the youth team up front than Barry.
